listened to the original by Cher? if you haven't, dont!! the baleful ambience of sinatra's version or reid's as-a-matter-of-fact rendition (of loss) somehow gets to you more than the original. wierd. and that's just my opinion.
there you are my friend. you were sincere enough to advice me not to listen to it...but at the same time, by mailing me the song, you got me to listen to it. and now, i am wondering should i have heeded your advice. or should i not have checked my mails. or should i not have listened to it at all???
by the way, i missed out - could never have imagined the original to have been by Cher. I am glad, i didn't listen to her version first. all thanks to mister tarantino!
